Community

The community under the Department of Human Resource Development (PSDM) of the Electrical Engineering Student Association (HME) plays a role in the development of electrical engineering knowledge among its members through various community-based activities. These activities aim to enhance skills, build social networks, engage in community service, foster leadership development, improve student welfare, and empower both personal and professional growth. The community conducts several activities such as competency training for electrical engineering students, mentoring high school students (SMK) in the Jember area, seminars, and guest lectures. Below are some of the communities within the Electrical Engineering Department of the University of Jember:

1. Power Community

Porcom (Power Community) is a community dedicated to understanding, developing, and sharing knowledge about high current systems. Porcom conducts several activities, including ETAP training.

2. Information and Technology Community

IT Com (Information and Technology Community) is a community aimed at connecting and advancing professionals, enthusiasts, and individuals interested in telecommunications and information technology. IT Com holds several activities, one of which is Python training.

3. Control System Community

The Control System Community is a platform for professionals, engineers, academics, and technology enthusiasts with an interest and expertise in the development, analysis, and implementation of control systems and automation. The Control System Community conducts several activities, one of which is PLC training.

4. Electronic Community

Elco (Electronics Community) is a community focused on low-current systems, involving electronics, communications, and signal-based systems with relatively low current intensity. Elco organizes several activities, including Machine Learning Introduction training.
